JOSH EDWARDS | Conductor & Artistic Director
Josh Edwards has been bringing his passion for worship and leadership to Hillview Baptist Church in Graniteville, South Carolina, as the Worship and Administrative Pastor since November 2017. Whether he's leading the congregation in worship or handling behind-the-scenes details, Josh approaches everything with a blend of heart, humor, and dedication.
A gifted pianist, Josh doesn't just stick to the church stage. He's been a key player in several Augusta-area theater productions including Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings, Children of Eden, Guys and Dolls, Always...Patsy Cline, and Les Miserables. His ability to bring music to life has made him a go-to accompanist and collaborator in the local arts scene.
Josh's academic journey is both impressive and inspiring. In 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Carson-Newman University, laying a strong foundation for his musical career. A decade later, he furthered his education at Anderson University and graduated in 2012 with a Master of Ministry degree in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies - a perfect blend of his passion for learning and his dedication to faith and leadership.
With a knack for blending his musical expertise, ministry experience, and approachable personality, Josh brings energy and creativity to everything he does. Whether he's behind the pulpit, at the piano, or just cracking a joke to lighten the mood, he's always ready to make an impact - and maybe have a little fun along the way.
